DragonRealm Chronicles:
Chapter One: The Fall And The Hatching Once upon a moonlit night, the stars aligned, and the ancient prophecies whispered of a time when the balance between humans and monsters would once again be tested. In a small village on the edge of the known world, a curious child ventured out into the darkness, drawn by a mysterious force they could neither see nor understand. As the child wandered through the shadowy forest, the ground beneath their feet began to tremble. In an instant, the earth cracked open, swallowing the child into the depths of the unknown. They plummeted into a hidden world, where the air shimmered with magic and possibility. Dazed and disoriented, the child awoke in a vast cavern illuminated by ethereal crystals. They found themselves in the DragonRealm, a place where monsters and dragons coexisted in harmony. As the child tried to grasp their new surroundings, they noticed a faint, pulsating glow in the distance. Intrigued and with nowhere else to go, the child followed the glow, which led them to a secluded chamber adorned with intricate carvings depicting the history and legends of the dragon realm. At the center of the chamber lay a dragon egg, radiant with iridescent colors and pulsating with a mesmerizing energy. Unbeknownst to the child, the egg was nearing the end of its incubation, and the fateful meeting of human and dragon was about to unfold. As the child approached the egg, a surge of determination and hope filled their heart, and the egg began to tremble and crack. With each passing moment, the egg's cracks grew wider, and the air around it buzzed with anticipation. Alex, mesmerized by the unfolding miracle before them, held their breath and watched as a tiny snout emerged from the fractured shell. Slowly, a young dragon unfurled itself from the remnants of its egg, blinking its eyes and taking its first breath in the realm it would soon call home. This dragon, with its shimmering scales of gold and green, was named Dracorus, a name destined to be etched into the annals of history. As Alex and Dracorus met each other's gaze for the first time, an inexplicable bond formed between them, one that transcended the boundaries of species and connected their very souls. They could feel each other's emotions, hopes, and fears, and they knew, without a doubt, that their destinies were forever intertwined. Together, the two ventured deeper into the DragonRealm, Alex and Dracorus supporting and learning from each other as they faced the challenges that lay ahead. Their journey would take them through lush forests and sparkling rivers, across arid deserts and treacherous mountains, all the while unraveling the mysteries of the realm and the ancient prophecies that spoke of their arrival. As they journeyed, Alex and Dracorus encountered the many monsters and dragons that called the DragonRealm their home. From the noble Dreemurr family, who had once ruled the realm and now served as esteemed advisors, to the enigmatic members of the Great Dragon Council, each new acquaintance brought with them valuable insights and wisdom that would help shape the path of our heroes. Through their trials and tribulations, Alex and Dracorus discovered the power of their combined determination, an ability that would allow them to shape the very fabric of time and space. With this newfound power came great responsibility, as they realized that their actions would have far-reaching consequences for not only themselves but for the entire realm. Unbeknownst to them, dark forces stirred in the shadows, seeking to exploit the growing unrest and discontent among the denizens of the DragonRealm. As the line between friend and foe began to blur, Alex and Dracorus would have to rely on their bond and the strength of their determination to save the realm they had come to love. And so, with courage in their hearts and the power of determination at their fingertips, Alex and Dracorus stepped forward into the unknown, ready to face the challenges and adventures that awaited them in the DragonRealm Chronicles. As Alex and Dracorus began their journey, they quickly realized that traversing the DragonRealm would be no easy task. The Crystal Caverns, though beautiful and mesmerizing, were filled with an array of dangerous creatures and treacherous terrain. With every step they took, they encountered new challenges, from navigating their way through narrow tunnels to fending off aggressive monsters. Yet, despite the difficulties, the bond between Alex and Dracorus only grew stronger. They quickly learned to rely on each other's strengths and to communicate without words, sensing each other's emotions and intentions through their unbreakable connection. Dracorus, with his innate knowledge of the DragonRealm and its inhabitants, served as a guide and protector, while Alex's determination and resourcefulness proved invaluable in overcoming obstacles and solving the many puzzles that stood in their way. As they ventured further into the Crystal Caverns, they stumbled upon an ancient stone tablet, covered in dust and hidden away in a secluded chamber. The tablet bore inscriptions in an archaic script, telling of a prophecy that spoke of a human child and a dragon, whose fates were intertwined and whose actions would determine the future of the DragonRealm. This discovery left Alex and Dracorus with a newfound sense of purpose, as they realized that their meeting and their journey were not merely a result of chance, but of destiny. With renewed determination, they pressed onward, eager to uncover the secrets of the prophecy and the role they were meant to play in shaping the course of history. Their travels eventually led them to the entrance of Emberwood Forest, where the air was filled with the scent of burning wood and the sky was illuminated by the vibrant hues of the flame-like leaves that adorned the trees. Here, they encountered a group of monsters who, unlike those they had met before, seemed wary and distrustful of the human in their midst. Among the monsters was a wise old dragon named Ignistail, whose scales had long since turned a deep shade of crimson, a sign of his age and experience. Ignistail approached Alex and Dracorus, his eyes filled with curiosity and caution. "You are the human child and the dragon from the prophecy," Ignistail said, his voice like the crackling of a fire. "Your presence here has been foretold for centuries, and your actions will have far-reaching consequences for us all. But be warned: not all will welcome you with open arms, and some will seek to use your power for their own gain." Heeding Ignistail's words, Alex and Dracorus continued their journey through Emberwood Forest, their hearts filled with a mixture of excitement and trepidation. As they traversed the fiery landscape, they encountered various fire-based monsters, each with their own unique abilities and challenges. Some were friendly and offered valuable advice or assistance, while others viewed the human-dragon pair with suspicion and hostility. One day, as they made their way through a particularly dense thicket, they heard a commotion up ahead. Cautiously, they crept closer, only to find a young fire sprite named Flicker, trapped in a hunter's snare. Her wings were singed, and she struggled desperately to free herself, her cries for help growing weaker with each passing moment. Without hesitation, Alex and Dracorus sprang into action. Using their combined strength and determination, they carefully disarmed the snare and released Flicker from her prison. Grateful for their help, the fire sprite fluttered her wings and offered them a gift – a small, glowing ember that she said would guide them on their journey and help them find their way through the darkest of places. With Flicker's ember safely tucked away, they continued deeper into Emberwood Forest, the trees growing taller and more imposing with each step they took. Before long, they found themselves at the edge of a vast chasm, the bottom shrouded in darkness and swirling mist. A narrow, rickety bridge stretched across the chasm, swaying gently in the warm breeze. As they stood at the precipice, a sense of dread washed over them, and they knew that crossing the bridge would be one of their most dangerous challenges yet. But Alex's determination, bolstered by their bond with Dracorus, pushed them forward. Hand in claw, they stepped onto the bridge, their hearts pounding in their chests. The bridge creaked and groaned beneath their weight, its wooden planks threatening to give way at any moment. Just as they reached the halfway point, a fierce gust of wind tore through the chasm, and the bridge began to sway violently. Panic rose in their throats, but they pushed forward, clinging to each other as they inched closer to the other side. Finally, after what felt like an eternity, they reached solid ground, their legs trembling from the ordeal. They had conquered their fears and, in doing so, had proven the strength of their bond and the power of their determination. Exhausted but victorious, they set up camp beneath the stars, a warm fire crackling in the heart of Emberwood Forest. As they gazed into the flames, they couldn't help but feel a sense of accomplishment and camaraderie, knowing that they were one step closer to fulfilling the prophecy and discovering their true purpose in the DragonRealm. The following morning, Alex and Dracorus awoke with renewed energy, ready to face the next leg of their journey. As they packed up their camp and said their farewells to Emberwood Forest, they couldn't shake the feeling that they were being watched. The forest seemed to whisper and murmur with unseen eyes, and shadows flickered just beyond their vision. Despite this, they pressed on, guided by the soft glow of Flicker's ember. Soon, they reached the outskirts of Frostspire Village, the air growing colder and crisper as they approached. Snowflakes danced through the sky, blanketing the ground in a delicate layer of white. The village itself was a charming collection of quaint cottages and bustling market stalls, all nestled at the base of a towering, ice-covered mountain. Here, they met an array of ice-based monsters and dragons, including the village elder, a wise and gentle snow dragon named Glaciera. Intrigued by their arrival, Glaciera invited them into her home, a cozy dwelling filled with books and scrolls detailing the history and culture of the DragonRealm. As they sat by the roaring fire, Glaciera shared stories of the DragonRealm's past – tales of ancient battles, powerful heroes, and long-lost relics that held the key to unimaginable power. Among these stories was the legend of the Nexus, a place where the power of determination converged and the barrier between the DragonRealm and the human world was maintained. Moved by Glaciera's wisdom and knowledge, Alex and Dracorus shared their own story, revealing the prophecy they had discovered in the Crystal Caverns and their quest to fulfill their destiny. Glaciera listened intently, her eyes twinkling with excitement and wonder. When they had finished, she offered them a piece of advice that would prove crucial to their journey. "Your path is one of great danger and uncertainty," she said, her voice soft and comforting. "But know this – the true strength of your bond lies not only in your determination but also in your ability to trust one another and work together in harmony. Only by embracing your connection and your shared destiny can you hope to succeed in your quest." With Glaciera's words etched into their hearts, Alex and Dracorus set forth from Frostspire Village, more determined than ever to unravel the mysteries of the prophecy and unlock the secrets of the DragonRealm. As they ventured further into the icy wilderness, they encountered new challenges and enemies, each more formidable than the last. Yet, with every victory and every setback, their bond grew stronger, and their resolve more unshakable. And as the snow-capped peaks of the Skyreach Peaks loomed on the horizon, they knew that they were one step closer to fulfilling their destiny and securing the future of the DragonRealm. With the Skyreach Peaks towering before them, Alex and Dracorus knew that they were nearing the end of their journey. The winds howled and whipped around them, threatening to steal their breath and send them tumbling back down the mountain. Yet, they pressed on, their determination burning brighter than ever. As they climbed higher and higher, the air grew thinner and the temperature plummeted. Icicles hung from every rocky outcrop, and each step they took felt like a battle against the elements. But with every challenge they faced, they grew stronger and more resilient, their connection deepening as they supported and encouraged one another. Finally, after days of relentless climbing, they reached the summit of the Skyreach Peaks. There, nestled between the jagged peaks and swirling clouds, they found the entrance to the Nexus. A massive stone gate stood before them, its surface covered in intricate carvings and runes that seemed to pulse with an otherworldly energy. As they approached the gate, they felt the weight of their journey and the significance of their actions settle upon them. They knew that what lay beyond the gate could change the course of history for both the DragonRealm and the human world. But they also knew that they had come too far to turn back now. With a deep breath, they stepped forward and placed their hands on the gate. Instantly, they felt a surge of power coursing through them, as if the very essence of determination was igniting within their souls. The runes on the gate began to glow, and with a deafening rumble, the massive stone doors swung open. As they crossed the threshold and entered the Nexus, they were greeted by a sight unlike anything they had ever seen. An expansive chamber, filled with swirling colors and energy, stretched out before them. It was as if they were standing at the very heart of the DragonRealm, the nexus point where all of its power converged. At the center of the chamber, they found a crystal pedestal, upon which rested a beautiful and ancient relic – the Amulet of Unity. According to legend, the amulet held the power to unite the DragonRealm and the human world, bringing about a new era of peace and understanding. With trembling hands, Alex reached out and grasped the amulet. As they did, they felt a rush of energy and determination unlike anything they had ever experienced. They knew, without a doubt, that their destiny had led them to this moment, and that their actions would shape the future of both worlds. Together, Alex and Dracorus raised the Amulet of Unity, their hearts swelling with hope and courage. And as they did, they felt the barrier between the DragonRealm and the human world begin to waver, a testament to the power of their bond and the strength of their determination. With the Amulet of Unity in their possession, Alex and Dracorus knew that their journey had only just begun. The Nexus had granted them a new understanding of the power of determination, but they also knew that they would need allies to help them achieve their goal of uniting the DragonRealm and the human world. Descending from the Skyreach Peaks, they set out for the Dreemurr Kingdom, where they hoped to gain the support of the noble dragon family. As they journeyed through the land, they began to encounter more of the unique inhabitants of the DragonRealm, each with their own stories and experiences to share. One such encounter occurred in the town of Mistveil, where they met a pair of skeleton brothers named Sans and Papyrus. The brothers were well-known throughout the town for their humor and good nature, and they quickly became friends with Alex and Dracorus. Sans, with his laid-back attitude and love of puns, provided a sense of levity to their journey, while Papyrus, ever-enthusiastic and determined to become a member of the DragonGuard, offered his unwavering support and encouragement. As they continued to travel, the group encountered more challenges and obstacles, from treacherous landscapes to fearsome monsters. Yet, with each trial they faced, their bond grew stronger, and they learned to rely on one another for strength and support. Upon arriving at the Dreemurr Kingdom, they were greeted by the imposing sight of the castle, a testament to the power and authority of the dragon family. With a mixture of anticipation and apprehension, they approached the gates, requesting an audience with the royal family. To their surprise, they were granted an audience with King Asgore and Queen Toriel, who listened intently as Alex and Dracorus shared their story and their quest to unite the DragonRealm and the human world. Intrigued by the prophecy and the potential for a new era of peace, the king and queen offered their support, pledging to aid them in their journey. With the blessing of the Dreemurrs, Alex, Dracorus, Sans, and Papyrus set out to uncover the secrets and mysteries that lay hidden throughout the DragonRealm. Along the way, they encountered other key figures, such as Undyne, the fearsome dragon warrior and captain of the DragonGuard, and Alphys, a brilliant inventor and scientist whose work had greatly advanced the realm's technology. As they delved deeper into the DragonRealm, they also began to uncover clues about the enigmatic figure of Gaster, whose past actions and experiments seemed to be connected to the events unfolding around them. Piecing together the fragments of information they found, they slowly began to unravel the truth behind his disappearance and the consequences of his actions. Throughout their journey, they learned valuable lessons about trust, friendship, and the power of determination. And as their bond grew stronger, they discovered that the fate of both worlds rested not only in their hands but in the connections they forged with those around them. With each step, they drew closer to their ultimate goal, guided by the knowledge that they were destined to change the course of history and bring about a new era of unity and peace between the DragonRealm and the human world. With the support of the Dreemurrs, Sans, Papyrus, Undyne, and Alphys, Alex and Dracorus felt more confident in their quest to unite the DragonRealm and the human world. However, they knew that they would still face many challenges, both from the world around them and from within themselves. As the group ventured deeper into the DragonRealm, they soon found themselves traversing the treacherous Frostfire Caverns. The biting cold and intense heat were a constant reminder of the harsh conditions they faced, and the ever-present danger of lurking monsters kept them on edge. Dracorus, his scales shimmering in the dim light, turned to Alex and said, "We must remain vigilant. The Frostfire Caverns are home to some of the most fearsome creatures in the DragonRealm. We cannot afford to let our guard down." Alex nodded, determination shining in their eyes. "We've come this far, and we won't back down now. We have the support of the Dreemurrs and our friends. Together, we can overcome any obstacle." Sans grinned, the light from his eye casting an eerie glow on the cavern walls. "Heh, I like your attitude, kid. Just remember, if things start to heat up, don't forget to stay cool." Papyrus rolled his eye sockets but couldn't help but smile at his brother's antics. "Really, Sans? Now is not the time for jokes! We must focus on the task at hand and ensure our safety." Toriel, ever the caring and protective figure, added, "Papyrus is right. We must all look out for one another and rely on our strengths to overcome the challenges we face." As they continued through the caverns, they encountered various creatures and puzzles that tested their wit, strength, and determination. Each challenge served to strengthen their bonds and teach them valuable lessons about teamwork, trust, and the power of friendship. At last, they emerged from the Frostfire Caverns and found themselves at the entrance to the mysterious Crystal Grotto. As they stood before the glistening crystal formations, Alex couldn't help but feel a sense of awe and wonder. As the group ventured into the Crystal Grotto, they were struck by the sheer beauty of the place. The crystal formations reflected the light in dazzling patterns, casting a mesmerizing glow throughout the cavern. "Wow, this place is amazing," Alex whispered, their eyes wide with wonder. "It truly is a sight to behold," agreed Toriel. "But we must not let our guard down. There may be hidden dangers lurking within these mesmerizing crystals." The group carefully navigated through the grotto, occasionally stopping to admire the stunning crystals or to solve intricate puzzles that blocked their path. As they progressed, they couldn't help but notice that the air seemed to be charged with an unusual energy. Undyne, her scales glinting in the reflected light, turned to Alphys and asked, "Do you feel that? It's like there's some sort of energy in the air." Alphys, adjusting her glasses, nodded. "Yes, I've been noticing it too. I believe this energy may be connected to the magical properties of these crystals. It's quite fascinating." As they continued, they discovered that this magical energy seemed to be focused around a central chamber, where a massive crystal formation dominated the room. As they approached, the crystal pulsed with a vibrant energy, emitting a low hum that seemed to resonate throughout the grotto. Dracorus stepped forward, his eyes fixed on the crystal. "This is no ordinary crystal. There is something...different about it. We must investigate further." Cautiously, they gathered around the crystal, examining it for any clues as to its true nature. As they did so, the crystal began to react to their presence, its glow intensifying and its hum growing louder. Suddenly, a mysterious figure appeared before them, seemingly materializing from the crystal itself. The figure was cloaked in shadows, but they could make out the shape of a tall, slender being with elongated limbs and a haunting presence. "I am Gaster," the figure announced, his voice echoing throughout the chamber. "Long have I been trapped within this crystal, and now, at last, you have freed me." The group exchanged wary glances, unsure of what to make of this enigmatic being. Alex, ever the brave and determined soul, stepped forward. "We seek to unite the DragonRealm and the human world, as foretold in the prophecy. Can you help us?" Gaster regarded them for a moment before responding, "I can. But know this: the path you walk is fraught with danger and sacrifice. You must be prepared to face the darkness within yourselves, as well as the darkness that threatens both worlds." Gaster's warning hung heavy in the air, but Alex and their companions were resolute in their determination. "We understand the risks," Alex replied, their voice steady. "We're willing to face whatever comes our way if it means bringing peace to both worlds." Gaster nodded, the shadows around him shifting as he did so. "Very well. In that case, I shall lend you my knowledge and power. But first, you must prove yourselves worthy." The group exchanged uncertain glances, but they knew they had come too far to back down now. They prepared themselves for whatever test Gaster had in store for them. The mysterious figure raised his elongated hands, and the chamber was suddenly filled with an eerie darkness. One by one, each member of the group found themselves confronted with manifestations of their deepest fears and insecurities. Sans faced a twisted version of himself, consumed by the knowledge of the countless timelines he had witnessed and the feeling of powerlessness that had haunted him for so long. Papyrus confronted his doubts about his own worth, as well as his fear of never being able to truly protect the ones he cared about. Undyne battled a monstrous version of herself, grappling with her inner struggle between her warrior spirit and her desire for a more peaceful existence. Alphys faced the consequences of her past experiments, as well as her fear of never being able to atone for her mistakes. Toriel and Asgore found themselves revisiting the pain of their broken family and the immense responsibility they bore as leaders of their people. And Alex, at the center of it all, faced the weight of the prophecy and the burden of their destiny, as well as the fear of failing those who had placed their trust in them. With the group facing the manifestations of their deepest fears and insecurities, they quickly realized that Gaster's test was not merely about physical strength, but also emotional resilience and self-discovery. As they confronted their individual challenges, they began to draw strength from one another, their bonds deepening as they witnessed each other's struggles and offered support. Slowly, they learned to accept their flaws and past mistakes, using this newfound self-awareness to overcome the obstacles Gaster had placed before them. Throughout the test, they felt Gaster's watchful presence, his enigmatic nature only adding to the gravity of the situation. At times, they could have sworn that they glimpsed other timelines and alternate realities in the shadows around him, hinting at the vast knowledge and power he possessed. Finally, after much effort and introspection, the group emerged victorious, having faced their fears and grown stronger as individuals and as a team. Gaster, now standing before them once more, nodded in approval. "You have proven yourselves worthy," he declared, his voice echoing through the chamber. "Now, as promised, I shall lend you my knowledge and power." He raised his hands, and the crystal at the center of the chamber began to pulse with a brilliant light. The energy within the crystal surged, enveloping the group in a warm, protective glow. As the energy washed over them, they felt their abilities and understanding grow, their connection to the world around them and the prophecy that bound them all together becoming clearer and more profound. With Gaster's guidance, they now had the tools they needed to face the challenges that lay ahead and bring the DragonRealm and the human world together in harmony. But their journey was far from over. As they prepared to leave the Crystal Grotto and continue their quest, they knew that they would face many more trials, both within themselves and from the world around them. And so, with renewed determination and the power of friendship and unity at their side, Alex and their companions set forth, ready to face whatever the future had in store. End Chapter One

DragonRealm Chronicles
Introducing "DragonRealm Chronicles" – an Undertale AU where dragons and their culture are deeply intertwined within the monster lore. In DragonRealm Chronicles, the world of monsters is ruled by majestic, powerful dragons. The royal family consists of dragon rulers, and dragons hold significant positions in the political and military hierarchy. The Great Dragon Council, comprised of the wisest and oldest dragons, governs the land and ensures peace and prosperity among monsters. Within the DragonRealm, there are various dragon species, each with unique abilities and cultural traits. The dragons live harmoniously with other monsters, and their society is based on respect, loyalty, and wisdom. Each dragon species is responsible for a particular aspect of monster life, such as weather, nature, or magic. As in Undertale, a human child falls into the monster world. In DragonRealm Chronicles, however, the child stumbles upon a dragon egg instead of encountering Flowey. This egg hatches, revealing a young dragon with the potential to grow into one of the most powerful creatures in the realm. The child forms a bond with the baby dragon and decides to name it Dracorus. The child and Dracorus embark on a journey together through the monster realm, encountering various characters from the original Undertale, who now have unique dragon-related traits and roles. For example, Toriel, the motherly figure, is now the caretaker of a dragon nursery, nurturing young dragons in the absence of their parents. Papyrus and Sans are Dragon-Forge Guardians, responsible for crafting enchanted armors and weapons for dragon warriors. Throughout their journey, the child and Dracorus must navigate through the complexities of dragon culture and politics, making decisions that could impact the balance between monsters and humans. Players can choose to follow a Pacifist, Neutral, or Genocide route, which will significantly affect the story's outcome. As the child and Dracorus work together to discover the truth about the monster realm and their place in it, they learn the importance of friendship, trust, and understanding in a world where dragon power reigns supreme. DragonRealm Chronicles offers players an immersive experience, blending the beloved elements of Undertale with an exciting new twist on dragon culture and mythology. Q: Do The Dreemurrs still hold power as the ruling family? A: In the DragonRealm Chronicles, the Dreemurrs still hold significant roles but are no longer the ruling family, as dragons have taken over that position. Instead, the Dreemurrs act as the esteemed ambassadors and advisors to the dragon rulers, maintaining strong relationships between various monster species and the dragons. Asgore Dreemurr, once the king in the original Undertale, serves as the High Ambassador of the monster realm in DragonRealm Chronicles. He is responsible for maintaining harmony among the different monster species and addressing their concerns to the Great Dragon Council. Asgore is also the commander of the elite monster forces, supporting the dragon warriors in their defense of the realm. Toriel Dreemurr, previously the queen, takes on the role of the Sage of Harmony in DragonRealm Chronicles. As the Sage, she is responsible for preserving the knowledge and wisdom of monster culture and dragon lore. Toriel also runs a dragon nursery, providing care and education for young dragons while their parents attend to their duties. Asriel Dreemurr, the prince in the original Undertale, becomes the Dragonkin Emissary in this AU. He is chosen by the dragons as a liaison between the dragon and non-dragon monster communities due to his empathetic nature and strong sense of justice. Asriel has developed a unique bond with dragons, enabling him to communicate and connect with them on a deeper level. Chara, the adopted human princess, is known as the Human-Dragon Peacekeeper in DragonRealm Chronicles. As the only human living among monsters, she serves as a living symbol of hope for a future where humans and monsters can coexist peacefully. Chara works closely with Asgore and Asriel to promote understanding and cooperation between humans and monsters, including dragons. Though the Dreemurrs no longer rule in the DragonRealm Chronicles, their influence and importance within monster society remain strong. They serve as essential links between the dragons and other monsters, using their wisdom, kindness, and diplomatic skills to create a harmonious world for all inhabitants. Q: What is the Status of the Dreemurrs? A: The Dreemurrs are still considered nobility and hold esteemed positions within the monster society. They are highly respected by both monsters and dragons for their wisdom, experience, and diplomacy. While they no longer rule the monster realm, the Dreemurrs' influence is vital in maintaining harmony and understanding between various monster species and the dragon rulers. Their roles in the hierarchy are indeed second only to the ruling class of dragons, and their contributions to the well-being and progress of the realm are invaluable. The Dreemurrs work closely with the Great Dragon Council and the dragon rulers to ensure the welfare of all monsters and to promote cooperation and peaceful coexistence. Their unique positions in the hierarchy enable them to bridge any gaps between dragons and other monsters, ensuring that the realm remains a harmonious and prosperous place for all its inhabitants. Q: Is This An AU, AT, AD, or AR? A: The DragonRealm Chronicles would be considered an Alternative Universe (AU). In an AU, the characters, settings, or storyline diverge from the original work in significant ways, creating a new and distinct world or scenario. In this case, the introduction of dragons and dragon culture as an integral part of the monster society, along with the altered roles and relationships of the characters, sets DragonRealm Chronicles apart from the original Undertale. Alternative Timelines (AT) typically involve changes in the sequence of events or the consequences of specific actions, while the overall universe remains the same. Alternative Dimensions (AD) involve different planes of existence or parallel worlds that are connected to the original universe. Alternative Realities (AR) are similar to AUs but may include more subtle changes in the characters or the world, resulting in a different version of the same universe. DragonRealm Chronicles, with its prominent changes to the monster world and its characters, fits best into the category of an Alternative Universe. Q: What are some of the more important figures within the council? A: Here are the names and brief descriptions of some prominent dragons in the ruling class and the Great Dragon Council: Sovereign Pyrathrax: The Dragon King of the realm, Pyrathrax is a wise and noble ancient Fire Dragon. Known for his level-headedness and strong sense of justice, he rules the land with fairness and compassion. Queen Aurorawing: The Dragon Queen, Aurorawing is a graceful and elegant Ice Dragon. She oversees the cultural and educational aspects of dragon society and is highly respected for her knowledge and wisdom. Councilor Stormclaw: A powerful Storm Dragon and a member of the Great Dragon Council, Stormclaw is responsible for maintaining the balance of weather and natural forces within the monster realm. Councilor Terragrasp: A wise and aged Earth Dragon, Terragrasp serves on the Great Dragon Council and oversees matters related to nature, agriculture, and the growth of the realm's resources. Councilor Celestius: An enigmatic Star Dragon, Celestius is a member of the Great Dragon Council, specializing in matters related to magic, prophecy, and the cosmic forces that influence the monster realm. Councilor Lumina: A radiant Light Dragon, Lumina serves on the Great Dragon Council and is responsible for healing, protection, and guiding the spiritual growth of the dragons and other monsters. Councilor Nocturnus: A mysterious and elusive Shadow Dragon, Nocturnus is a member of the Great Dragon Council and focuses on matters of stealth, security, and safeguarding the realm from hidden threats. These are just a few of the many dragons that make up the ruling class and the Great Dragon Council in the DragonRealm Chronicles. They each hold significant power and influence, contributing to the governance and well-being of the monster realm. Q: Does the King and Queen have any Pups? A: Sovereign Pyrathrax and Queen Aurorawing have two dragon pups, who are the heirs to the throne: Prince Fyrendor: The elder dragon pup and the Crown Prince of the realm, Fyrendor is a skilled and ambitious Fire-Ice hybrid dragon. He possesses both his father's fiery determination and his mother's cool intelligence. Being groomed to succeed his father, Fyrendor is learning the intricacies of governing the realm and the art of diplomacy. Princess Glaciaflame: The younger dragon pup and sister to Fyrendor, Glaciaflame is a spirited and adventurous Fire-Ice hybrid dragon. She is passionate about exploring the world and understanding the various cultures and species that inhabit it. Her curiosity and empathy make her a beloved figure among the monster community, as she often advocates for the well-being of all creatures. Both Fyrendor and Glaciaflame are well-prepared to inherit the responsibilities of their parents and continue the legacy of the dragon rulers. They are being educated and trained in various disciplines, including combat, diplomacy, and magic, to ensure the realm remains prosperous and harmonious under their rule. Q: How does Determination Work in This Universe? A: In the DragonRealm Chronicles AU, the concept of determination still plays a significant role, but with some unique twists. The power of determination is no longer solely reserved for humans; instead, it is also present in certain dragons and monsters, albeit in varying degrees. The human child and Dracorus, the young dragon they bond with, both possess a unique form of determination. When combined, their determination allows them to save, load, and reset timelines, as well as return from death. This powerful connection between the child and Dracorus forms the basis of their journey together and affects the outcome of the story. The Great Dragon Council and other wise dragons are aware of the power of determination, and they strive to harness and balance it for the greater good of the monster realm. While they cannot manipulate timelines as the child and Dracorus can, they can use their knowledge and understanding of determination to guide and influence the course of events. By sharing the power of determination between humans, dragons, and monsters, DragonRealm Chronicles introduces a new layer of complexity and interdependence to the story. It challenges players to carefully consider the consequences of their actions and choices, as they can affect not only their own fate but also the lives and destinies of those around them. Story Introduction: Once upon a time, in a realm far beyond the reach of ordinary mortals, there existed a land where magic and mystery filled the air. This enchanting world was known as the DragonRealm, a place where majestic dragons and diverse monsters lived together in harmony. Long ago, the DragonRealm was ruled by the noble Dreemurr family, who led their subjects with wisdom and kindness. But as time went on, the dragons grew in power and influence, and they soon rose to prominence as the realm's protectors and leaders. The Dreemurrs, with their innate grace and diplomacy, accepted the changing tides and took on new roles as esteemed advisors and ambassadors to the dragon rulers. In the heart of this magical world stood the Great Dragon Council, comprised of the most powerful and wise dragons from every corner of the realm. They governed the land with fairness and compassion, ensuring peace and prosperity for all who dwelled within. Monsters of all shapes and sizes lived in unity under the guidance of these mighty beings, and the realm flourished. One fateful day, a human child accidentally stumbled into the DragonRealm, their arrival foretold by ancient prophecies. As the child ventured forth into this mystical land, they discovered a dragon egg, shimmering with the promise of new life. From within the egg emerged a young dragon named Dracorus, who was destined to become one of the most powerful beings in the realm. Bound together by fate, the human child and Dracorus embarked on a remarkable journey through the DragonRealm, uncovering its secrets and navigating the intricate web of dragon culture and politics. Along the way, they encountered familiar faces from the land of Undertale, each now woven into the rich tapestry of dragon lore. As the child and Dracorus forged friendships, faced challenges, and discovered the power of their combined determination, they learned that their choices could shape the future of the DragonRealm and the delicate balance between monsters and humans. And so, dear reader, the tale of the DragonRealm Chronicles unfolds, a story of adventure, friendship, and destiny, where the choices you make can change the course of history in a world where dragons rule supreme.

Systematic Restore: Chapter One-The Fall
“ Is.. is she alive? ” A concerned voice broke the silence, not long after, another one replied. “ I don’t know, it was a long fall. “ There was a short pause before any more words were spoken, they seemed to be observing the still human currently laying on the ground. “ ..How in the world did you survive when you fell? “ “ My poor, naive, brother; I’m the toughest of my kind. It takes a lot more than a little fall to bring me down. “ The male voice huffed. “ You’re just lucky the flowers were there to break your fall, like they did with her. “ He glanced over towards the unfamiliar human.  “ Whatever. “ The girl said. She quickly hushed as she noticed movement from the other human. “ Wait— shh, I think they’re starting to come around. “  My eyes flickered open, and the moment they do, I’m greeted with an intense pain. It felt like thousands of needles were jammed into my body all at once. I didn’t dare move yet, fearing the possibly of the pain becoming worse. But I suck in a breath of air anyways and nearly cried out in pain, taking more shallow breaths from then on. My eyes weren’t used to the darkness, so it took them a few moments to adjust to my surroundings. When they did, two figures instantly caught my attention. And as I blinked, they became clearer. One had brownish red, shoulder length hair, a green sweater with two yellow stripes, and brown pants. She was looking at me like I was a suspect in a crime scene investigation. The other seemed to be a young, humanoid goat monster. His outfit matched that of his comrade. He seemed excited. Though, all I wanted to know was where I had ended up. I was still filled with confusion, and everything around me was unfamiliar. The strange goat boy extended his paw out to me. “ Do you need help? “ I looked at him, puzzled, and a little afraid. He smiled, which seemed to ease my nerves just a little bit.  “ Don’t worry human, we won’t hurt you! “ He turned to his sister, who was standing to the side with her arms folded. “ Right, Chara? “  “ Hmph, speak for yourself. “ The goat monster gave her a look for a moment, the girl changing her answer shortly after. “ I’m only joking.. kind of. “ She mumbled that last word before sticking her tongue out. The monster sighed and turned his attention back towards me, once again offering his paw. “ Sorry about my sister, she’s being a little stubborn right now. Here, we’ll lend you a hand. “ The girl interrupted, “ We will? “ She seemed mildly shocked. “ Yes! It’d be mean not to! “ Her brother blurted back.  Still hesitant, I took his paw. He quickly put my arm around his shoulder, helping me stand. The goat monster’s volume lowered a bit, now directly speaking to me, as if he was about to tell me a secret. “ I apologize about her behavior. She just doesn’t trust other humans for some reason.. and has yet to tell me why. “ His voice returned to normal volume. “ Oh! By the way, my name is Asriel— Asriel Dreemurr. And that is Chara! “ He gestured over towards his sister. I glanced at her for a second, she was pretending to be interested in a buttercup flower for some reason. Maybe in an attempt to ignore me. I brushed it off.  “ Come on, Chara. Help me out! “ Asriel pleaded, his shoulder already becoming slightly tired. Chara rolled her eyes and eventually got up to help her brother. She got on the other side of me and helped me walk to an unknown destination.  I knew I should’ve been afraid at the sight of a monster, or at least extremely skeptical, but I was in too much pain to care, even with Chara and Asriel’s support. Although, something about the monster seemed so kind, so non-threatening and welcoming. Maybe it was the harsh difference between him and the other human. She seemed.. so cold— and hostile.  But if he *was* going to eat me, like all the monsters do in the stories I’ve heard, I doubt I could put up much of a fight— or even care.  It was a slow an agonizing walk through what seemed to be an underground city. Asriel kept talking the whole way while Chara muttered incoherent words under her breath, ones I couldn’t hear anyway.  “ By the way.. “ Asriel finally paused. “ What’s your name? ..And which human settlement are you from? “ Honestly, it took me a moment to remember my name. I was so disoriented. But eventually, I got to it. “ It’s— Frisk. And I’m from.. I’m.. from… “ I couldn’t remember. How hard did I hit my head? The only thing I could recall was me waking up down here. I don’t even know how I got here, let alone who I am. Besides my name and age, of course.  Chara still looked skeptical. It was clear she hadn’t an ounce of trust in me. But Asriel continued to speak to me. “ So.. you don’t remember anything about yourself? Your nationality, parents— “ I shook my head before he could finish. Nothing. “ That’s strange. “ Asriel replied, looking a little concerned.  After a while, I tuned him out. Who am I? Why or how did I end up here? I know nothing, and yet I’m letting these two complete strangers lead me to an unknown location, through the underground. It’s not like I have any other options.  Suddenly, I was jolted out of my thoughts by Asriel. He stopped and pointed towards something, I squinted my eyes trying to make it out. It looked like a house. Relief washed through me. Maybe this meant I wouldn’t have to walk anymore, each step was agonizing.  “ Look! We’re almost home. “ Sure enough, after some more walking, a small  but cozy looking cottage that seemed to be jutting out of the purple brick wall behind it popped into clearer view. In front of the house was a decently large tree, full of life and blossoming prosperously. The leaves themselves seemed to shine and glow a luscious emerald green color. Strange, because it had no sunlight. But it was obvious lots of love and care went into the tree.  I turned my head to see decorative vines lined up on the brick wall and on both sides of the entrance. But my attention was easily pulled away by the smell of a delicious homemade cinnamon-butterscotch pie, instantly making my stomach rumble. “ Don’t worry. Once we get inside, we’ll have mom patch you up. “  Chara sighed a sigh of relief, as if she’d been carrying a ton on her shoulders. “ Thank god. You’re not exactly light, you know. Not light enough to be half-carried on a 20 minute walk. “ Asriel nudged her with his elbow. “ Don’t be rude, Chara. Help me take Frisk inside. “ Chara looked slightly annoyed, but did so anyway. Her only response was a huff. She readjusted her grip on my arm, and together, the three of us made our way through the entrance of their strange but inviting looking home.

Backstory Of CrimsonFade:
Long ago, two races ruled over Earth: HUMANS and MONSTERS. One day, war broke out between the two races. After a long battle, the humans were victorious. They sealed the monsters underground with a magic spell.
Many years later...
The monsters entrapped underground did not lose hope, despite everything. Instead, they adapted to their society, and found a peaceful, happy home in their prison underground. After the monster species travelled as refugees through the caverns west of the underground, all the way to the east, they then established themselves not as refugees, but as people who have found their home.
